The El Dorado Charter SELPA currently offers opportunities throughout the course of the 22-23 school year, for your LEA’s speech and language pathologist and supporting speech community, to receive accredited training opportunities. The El Dorado SELPA’s are a newly accredited CEU provider with the California Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispenser Board. The SELPAs provide a wide range of training opportunities from community-based offerings such as ASHA webinars, certificated training in Communication Severity Scales (CSS).

This session shares low-cost and accessible methods for voice measurement that clinicians in any work setting can use as part of a voice assessment for adults and children. These assessment methods address the impact of vocal issues on activities of daily living, allow individuals to report voice changes over time, and aid clinicians in developing treatment goals and measuring outcomes. Using Curriculum-Based Language Intervention to Meet Individualized Goals

This webinar will focus on how to use information from curriculum-based language assessment to provide curriculum-based language intervention in classroom or pull-out settings. The course will discuss techniques such as using actual curricular materials to target students’ individualized goals while meeting core curriculum standards in classroom-based writing labs and small group contexts.
