Recent changes to California Education Code have expanded and redefined the category of Specific Learning Disability to include the area of Phonological Processing. These changes have created a need for additional training as schools begin to expand the supports they offer to students with learning disabilities. This webmodule will provide an overview of the new legal requirements, the types of dyslexia, and clarify and dispel myths.
