Introduction to the Thread of Educational Benefit: IEP Planning, Assessment and Communication

Education Specialists Will Learn:

  • How the Thread of Educational Benefit provides the basis of instruction for all.
  • How Standards provide the learning target for all.
  • How Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) serve to support all students in Tier One, Tier Two and Tier Three.
  • How the Student Study Team process works to support provide targeted supports for students.
  • About the role of case manager and the importance of good communication skills.
