• Understanding Educational Benefit 201

  • This workshop will focus on developing standards-based, grade level aligned goals from the data gathered to identify student needs. Participants will transfer their knowledge of identifying and implementing appropriate accommodations, services and supports from theory to practice.
    
 Participants will be able to:
    • Draft goals based on the identified individualized need(s) of the student
    • Determine which services are most appropriate for the student based on the identified needs and goals to support the needs

    • Develop accommodations for both classroom and statewide testing settings that can be implemented into practice in all environments

    This is a 3 hour training.

    Site-Based Trainings may be requested via your SELPA Program Specialist with a minimum of 10 participants at your school site. Should you wish to have a Site-Based Training, but do not have 10 participants, the SELPA may be able to pair your LEA’s needs with other local SELPA Partners in order to offer the training at your site.
