Patterns of Strengths and Weaknesses

There are three basic models of Specific Learning Disability (SLD) identification: the Discrepancy Model, the Response to Intervention Model, and the Patterns of Strengths and Weaknesses (PSW) Model. Current Federal law favors the Response to Intervention Model, but the Patterns of Strengths and Weaknesses Model is growing in popularity and research-base.  This webmodule focuses on the PSW model for identification of SLD.
