Start With Yes: Developing and sustaining inclusive education for ALL students
How do we include unique learners in accessing and engaging in the content in our general education classrooms? In this session, we will explore how our biases and beliefs about disability impact our practices and services for students, especially those identified with significant disabilities. Together, we will brainstorm solutions to overcoming existing barriers to inclusive education and identify effective instructional practices that lead to quality education outcomes for all students. Participants will also learn how to use a framework for developing a vision for inclusive education in their classrooms and schools.
